If you have never used a Mirro cookie press before you are missing out on a very easy fun way to makes lots of cookies. We never had one of these when I was a kid but I discovered the Mirro cookie press last holiday season. Basically you mix the cookie dough according to the recipe, pick a shape for your cookies and fill the press with dough. You place the end of the press on the cookie sheet and turn the handle to express dough onto the sheet. Lift the press and move onto the next cookie. Quick Easy and Fun !! The xmas tree is my favorite shape. After baking I sprinkle a little green sugar on the trees and Voila !!I have spoken to teachers who teach baking in schools and they swear by the Mirro Cookie Press - they won't use anything else !!
